SEXO, PUDOR Y LÁGRIMAS.
I designed this poster for the exhibition “Los colores del cine”, during the Rodando Film Fest 2016. Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas (Sex, shame and tears) is a mexican film directed by Antonio Serrano.
PLACER DERECHO DE CAMINAR EN PAZ.
“Contra la violencia hacia las mujeres” (Violence against women) was a calling from Imágenes en voz alta, a reflection about street harassment against women. My poster is called: The simple
pleasure right of walking in peace.. I’m striking out the “pleasure”, because a very basic human right is been banned for a lot of women in México. Like me. You can download the poster, share it, printing and use it for social practices.
JULIÁN CARRILLO Y EL SONIDO 13.
I was just a child when I first heard about Julián Carrillo, I used to see his statue at the main entrance of Ahualulco del Sonido 13. My father told me he was a musician born and raised in the countryside just like him, besides that I really never cared about his great contribution to mankind: The 13 sound. I got an invitation from the Ministery of Culture of SLP (2015), to participate in a poster exhibition called: “Homenaje a Julián Carrillo” (Tribute to Julián Carrillo). With this poster I wanted to make reference to the gap discovered by him, a gap in sounds that could only be perceived and highlighted by a guy born in the middle of nowhere: my hometown.
